1. About the app
"Tai Chi for Seniors & Beginner" (the "app") is operated by Umar Javed ("we", "us"). It offers guided Tai Chi video sessions for general fitness and wellness, sold as a digital subscription. It is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Subscriptions sold on our website are available to customers in the United States who are 18 or older.
2. Health and safety
The app is for general wellness and education only. It is not medical advice, and it is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness or condition.
- Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, balance concerns or limited mobility.
- Only do the moves that feel right for your body. You are responsible for choosing what is safe for you.
- Stop right away if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or discomfort, and get medical help if needed.
- Make sure the space around you is clear, and keep something sturdy nearby to hold if you need it.
3. Subscriptions and payment
The app is free to download. Full access to all content requires a paid subscription. The price and billing period are always shown before you buy. Current website prices are on our Pricing page.
- On our website: payment is processed securely by Stripe and charged to your card when you confirm the purchase. We never see your full card details.
- In the app: payment is charged to your Apple or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can cancel at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Free trials and special offers
- Free trials: if a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your subscription starts automatically at the price shown when you signed up.
- Discounts: a discounted price applies only to the billing period stated in the offer, usually the first one. After that, your subscription renews at the regular price, which is shown before you buy.
- Each offer can be used once per person and cannot be combined with other offers.
- We may change or end an offer at any time. This does not affect offers you have already accepted.
4. App store terms
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If anything in these terms conflicts with it, Apple's agreement applies. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
5. Our content
All content in the app, including videos, images, text and design, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, share, sell or change it without our written permission.
6. Changes to the app
We may update, change or stop parts of the app at any time, for example to improve it or fix problems.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage that comes from using the app or doing the exercises in it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
